Who We Are

As Co-Founders of the Metrowest Women's Fund, Rachel Sagan and Rebecca Parkhill are driven by a single goal: to do their part in making our community a place where women and girls are supported and get the services they need and deserve. Building a community of donors with a shared vision also drives this goal.

Rebecca is an ordained Unitarian Universalist community minister who has worked in churches in the US and England and with non-profits, schools and in town government social services. She recently served on the Board of Trustees at the Cambridge School of Weston where she worked on Development and co-chaired the search for the Head of School. Rebecca currently serves on the Program Committee of Young Audiences of Massachusetts, a non-profit that brings arts education and programming to children throughout the state. She holds a BA from Brown University and an MDiv from Yale University.

Rachel enjoys a professional life dedicated to public interest law, philanthropy and non-profit management. She recently worked as the Executive Director of the United Way of Acton-Boxborough.
