Today we honor Marybeth Fletcher. Marybeth assists students experiencing food and housing insecurities and other obstacles to their education. She has been an integral member of the team that implements the Metrowest Women’s Fund Single Mother Student Emergency Fund, a program that supports women whose education is at risk because of a serious financial burden.

​

Marybeth is a Case Manager and Resource Specialist at MassBay Community College.

Safety from Violence is a priority for the Metrowest Women's Fund. We are proud to highlight the work of Amarely Gutierrez Oliver.


Amarely leads a critical domestic violence nonprofit, REACH Beyond Domestic Violence , which offers immediate services for survivors of domestic violence. She is an advocate focused on ending domestic violence and the broader systems of oppression that perpetuate it.

The Metrowest Women's Fund is pleased to celebrate Women’s History Month by honoring local leaders whose work advances gender equity in Metrowest.


Harleen Singh is the Director of the Brandeis Women's Studies Research Center and teaches South Asian Literature and Women's Studies at Brandeis University . Her research and writing concerns sexuality, feminism and gender violence. Harleen serves on the Metrowest Women’s Fund Advisory Council.
